About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tariff & Tender Management Specialist to join our team at GLOVIS Europe GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Freight Forwarding Tariff & Tender related to the European Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tariff Management:
    • Source and analyze information about new suppliers and forwarders.
    • Conduct supplier qualification and due diligence processes.
    • Manage tariff procurement, structuring, maintenance, and updates.
    • Onboard and manage supplier relationships.
    • Evaluate and manage contracts with vendors.
    • Screen the market and provide regular reports.
    • Ensure inter-departmental communication and alignment.
  • Tender Management:
    • Define joint tenders aligned with sales and product strategies.
    • Align tender processes with sales and product goals.
    • Set up, execute, and moderate tender processes.
    • Review customer and supplier conditions.
    • Manage agent networks.
    • Manage stakeholders and their interests.
Requirements
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking abilities.
  • Effective networking and alliance building capabilities.
  • Ability to manage tariffs and tenders efficiently.
  • Good knowledge of the logistics market and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Completed training or studies in business administration or logistics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
