Senior Data Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our Data Science team at Eraneos. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures, developing data preparation, aggregation, and cleansing pipelines, and working with event and streaming technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable cloud architectures
  • Develop data preparation, aggregation, and cleansing pipelines
  • Work with event and streaming technologies such as SQS, PubSub, EventHub, and Kafka
  • Develop RESTful API services using established frameworks and standards
  • Write automated tests and documentation, and implement CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years' experience in software development in an industrial environment
  • Sound knowledge of Python, including libraries relevant to data science
  • Knowledge of Java, Scala, or Kotlin, as well as Machine Learning
  • Proven experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies, especially in the Hadoop ecosystem
  • Experience with container technologies and micro-services, as well as cloud technologies
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in building and leading teams
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
