Offshore Wind Turbine Technician

The Vestas Service Offshore organization is responsible for the operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms in Northern and Central Europe. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of our wind farms, and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Offshore Service Technician.

The wind farm you will be working at is Arcadis Ost, a Vestas V-9.5 MW turbine installation located in the German Baltic Sea. As an Offshore Service Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of turbine components, as well as the supervision of maintenance and installation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on turbine components, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Supervise maintenance and installation activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Participate in recurring work-related training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices
  • Work collaboratively with the Site Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the wind farm
  • Comply with Vestas' health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Completed training as an electrician, electrician, or mechatronics engineer (EFK)
  • Experience working in the wind and/or offshore industry is preferred
  • Profound knowledge of medium or high voltage systems
  • Good English and German language skills, both spoken and written
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
