Offshore Wind Turbine Technician

The Vestas Service Offshore organization is responsible for the operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms in Northern and Central Europe. We have a significant presence in the region, with over 4 GW of wind farms under service contracts.

The Arcadis Ost wind farm, located in the German Baltic Sea, is a key project for our team. As an Offshore Service Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the maintenance and repair of Vestas V-9.5 MW turbines.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing maintenance, repair, and replacement activities on turbine components
  • Maintaining electrical and mechanical systems
  • Supervising maintenance and installation activities
  • Participating in recurring work-related training
  • Registering working time and materials
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Completed training as an electrician, electrician, or mechatronics engineer (EFK)
  • Experience in the wind and/or offshore industry
  • Profound knowledge of medium or high voltage systems
  • Good English and German language skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
