Join Our Team as a Service Technician for Wind Turbines

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of offshore wind turbines within Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of offshore wind turbines
  • Supervise and train new colleagues and 3rd party employees
  • Ensure safety cultures and behaviors within Service Offshore
  • Keep and maintain accurate logbooks, documentation, and reports
  • Lead small teams and provide on-the-job training
Requirements:
  • Completed apprenticeship as electrical technician (e.g., electrician, industrial electronics, industrial electrician, mechatronics)
  • Sound working experience within the wind industry, preferably in the offshore environment
  • Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance works on DD and geared platforms
  • Ability to work offshore in shift patterns
  • Strong intercultural skills and ability to communicate in English
