The Technical Lead for Data Center Solutions is a senior role that requires a deep understanding of data center operations and technical design principles.

In this position, you will manage, develop, and support the Solution Design Engineers (SDE) Team to ensure that all tasks, goals, and obligations are realized up to the standards defined in the Service Design Regulations and other internal and external regulations and demands.

You will foster international collaboration, knowledge transfer, and optimize ways of working to set up the team for future demands.

This role involves ensuring the highest customer satisfaction, including internal departments and customers, through best practices and direct results of delivered technical design quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing the SDE Team
  • Ensuring compliance with Service Design Regulations and other internal and external regulations
  • Fostering international collaboration and knowledge transfer
  • Ongoing optimization of team processes and workflows

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in an electrotechnical, mechanical, or industrial environment, or comparable education with extensive work experience in the required areas
  • At least 7 years of experience in the data center or telecommunication sector, with 7 years of project management or consultancy experience highly desired
  • More than 5 years of experience as an engineer in an electro technical or industrial/mechanical environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading or supervising a team
  • Expertise in data center or larger electrotechnical system installations (implementation)
  • Expertise in technical documentation
  • Fluency in German and English
