About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team at Ottobock. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative compensation and benefits strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive compensation and benefits analyses to assess competitive positioning and provide recommendations for senior management.
  • Develop and maintain our function evaluation system, ensuring it remains aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the annual global salary round and bonus round, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication.
  • Participate in and manage projects to implement, optimize, and harmonize remuneration instruments at national and international levels.
  • Design and implement rules and processes for job evaluations, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Develop and implement target group-oriented employee communication strategies for compensation and benefits measures.
  • Collaborate with co-determination committees, including negotiations, to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct and participate in works council negotiations on compensation and benefits projects.
  • Build and maintain a global compensation and benefits community, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Coordinate with external service providers and internal contacts on compensation and benefits matters.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field, with several years of experience in HR Compensation and Benefits.
  • You have expertise in salary benchmarking, job evaluation/grading, bonus and incentive systems, preferably on an international level.
  • You possess a high degree of flexibility to adapt quickly to changing topics, interests, and requirements.
  • You have a strong affinity for numbers, a structured analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
  • You are able to drive projects forward successfully and have good communication skills.
  • Very good German and English skills are essential for this role.
