Job Title: Project Manager / Project Engineer in Urban Water Management (w/m/d)

Job Summary:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager / Project Engineer to join our team in Berlin, Darmstadt, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Karlsruhe, or Cologne. As a Project Manager / Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects across all HOAI phases, including local construction supervision. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing project concepts and studies
  • Executing construction, expansion, renovation, and modernization projects in the municipal and commercial sectors of urban water management
  • Managing all aspects of urban water management, including canal construction, water supply, special structures (RÜ, RÜB, RRB, etc.), pressure pipelines, and other infrastructure facilities (gas pipelines, power cables, telecommunications cables, etc.)

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar field
  • Several years of experience in urban water management, with a focus on project management and engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in German language, both written and spoken
