About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Technology Advisor to join our team at E.ON Digital Technology GmbH.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough consultations with clients to understand their business objectives, technological needs, and challenges. They will analyze and document business requirements to develop tailored IT solutions that align with client goals.

As a Strategic Technology Advisor, you will design and propose innovative technical solutions leveraging our digital platforms, middleware technologies, and service offerings. You will ensure these solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

You will lead and manage technology projects from inception to completion, developing project plans, defining project scope, allocating resources, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, engineers, and business leaders, is essential to facilitate communication and ensure project alignment with client goals.

You will conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations for clients and internal teams to enhance understanding and adoption of new technologies and systems across the company.

A comprehensive technical documentation package, including solution architecture, system designs, and user guides, will be prepared by the successful candidate. Regular progress reports and project summaries will be provided for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a consultant, project manager, or equal role involving business and technical advice and providing engaging presentations and demos.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate technologies, such as Middleware solutions, SAP Technologies, or Customer Care solutions.
  • Up-to-date understanding of digital architectures and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in agile or waterfall-based delivery models.
  • Strong team player with excellent communications skills and a problem-solving mindset in an international environment.
  • Willingness to undertake international business travel.
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory.

Estimated Salary: The annual salary for this position is estimated to be around €80,000 - €120,000 depending on qualifications and location.
