About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Digital Architect to join our team at Knauf, an international market leader in the building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and refine a business-aligned capability model that integrates seamlessly within an end-to-end architectural framework to support strategic objectives
  • Provide insights to functional leaders based on current market trends and industry best practices; align business capabilities with enterprise architecture (EA) frameworks and recommend appropriate technologies to achieve a cohesive architecture
  • Guide functional leaders in aligning business and IT strategies effectively and mentor a team of solution architects in their specific domains
  • Collaborate in the creation of strategic business and value propositions for global solutions
  • Support change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes, working closely with key stakeholders across business units, IT, and support functions
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Information Technology, Physics, or a related field, combined with several years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or Lead Architect specifically in Manufacturing IT/OT and Industry 4.0 environments
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the Manufacturing Processing Industry and current trends in Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Mining
  • Proven expertise in enterprise architecture, encompassing technology, information, data, security, infrastructure, and integration, along with strong IT/OT architecture and infrastructure skills
  • Proficiency in change management and communication, with the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)

Salary and Benefits
