Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a Business Development Strategist. As a key member of our commercial planning team, you will be responsible for leading and embedding business planning processes, fostering collaboration and alignment across functions, and ensuring the quality of commercial forecasts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business planning processes to drive organizational excellence and quality of commercial forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, ensuring consistency with trends and flagging gaps in forecasts.
  • Articulate and communicate commercial plans to stakeholders, including KAMs, Supply, and Finance.
  • Build and maintain a promo library and consolidate promo plans.
  • Support the construction of unit forecasts for customers and diagnose value forecasts.
  • Challenge and strategize longer-term forecasts, capturing SIT impact and ensuring buy-in profile accuracy.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure alignment on promotional forecasts.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in business planning or a comparable activity.
  • Sales mindset and initial sales experience.
  • High attention to detail and confident handling of complex issues.
  • High degree of initiative and personal responsibility.
  • Strategic vision and ability to structure and manage complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence a multi-functional team.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • High level of commitment and resilience.
  • Fluent in German language.
