International Packaging Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Print Implementation Manager to join our dynamic team at JT International Germany GmbH in Trier, Germany.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a packaging expert to lead project realizations for all printed materials, from conception to shipping. As a key player in our R&D Packaging team, you will work closely with internal and external partners to bring our packaging visions to life. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all printed materials meet JTI quality standards, while also driving business efficiency and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project realization for all printed materials, including tipping to shipping case
- Monitor and control usage of qualified materials for JTI products
- Supervise suppliers on-site to ensure adherence to JTI quality standards
- Coordinate qualification processes with suppliers, NTM teams, SRA, and GSC for material tests
- Pursue process improvements and business efficiency enhancements through targeted projects
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A university or technical degree in packaging technology
- Practical experience in packaging within the FMCG industry, preferably cigarette packaging
- Excellent knowledge of prepress and main printing and converting technologies
- Strong packaging material knowledge and quality assurance experience
- Comprehensive project management experience, including planning to realization
