AI. FUND is a dedicated entrepreneurial investment vehicle focused on propelling AI initiatives from Europe. We target the most promising early-stage startups that integrate AI into their impactful solutions. Our investment focus spans across various industries, primarily in seed and Series A funding rounds, emphasizing startups with initial customer traction and the ambition for international expansion.

With a concentrated approach on scalable AI ventures from Europe, our seasoned entrepreneurial team and extensive international network in AI, venture capital, and business realms actively assist our portfolio companies in achieving global growth.

Key Responsibilities

Role Overview: The Investment Manager will oversee the daily operations of AI. FUND:

  • Identify and evaluate new startup investment opportunities,
  • Analyze potential investment cases and provide deal support,
  • Support portfolio companies, monitor their progress and growth,
  • Organize investor events, manage and enhance the AI. FUND network, and oversee communications both online and offline (including website and social media),
  • Manage AI. FUND tracking, reporting, and controlling, including deal execution and company administration,
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Partners, contributing to the strategic and business development of AI. FUND.
Core Functions & Responsibilities
  • Investment Pipeline Management: Sourcing, screening, and preparing deals for startups.
  • Portfolio Management: Reporting, supporting, and developing portfolio companies.
  • Market Analysis & Support: Tracking market trends and optimizing portfolio management.
  • Network Development & Event Coordination: Organizing networking, investor, and startup events, along with knowledge management and online communications.
  • Financial Oversight & Business Development: Providing financial controlling support, conducting business analytics and planning, and performing market research.
  • Administrative Support: Overseeing business organization, administration, and communication.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and investment-oriented thinking.
  • Ability to independently navigate investment, financial, and business matters.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Results-driven with a commitment to excellence.
  • Passion for innovation and technology, coupled with a proactive attitude.
  • High interpersonal skills - a personable individual with strong convictions.
  • Flexibility and dedication.
  • Proficient in both German and English at a business level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in fields such as strategy consulting, investment, startup operations, business development, or analytics.
  • Experience working with or within startups.
  • Ability to think creatively and adopt an investor's perspective.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • International exposure.

Educational Background:

Degree in business, technology, or a scientific discipline at the Bachelor or Master level.
