Role Description

The Investment Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of AI. FUND, including sourcing and screening new startup investment cases, assessing potential investment opportunities, and accompanying portfolio companies in their development and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pipeline Management: Sourcing, screening, and assessing new startup investment cases
  • Invest Portfolio Management: Reporting, supporting, and developing portfolio companies
  • Stock Portfolio Management Support: Tracking market trends and optimizing portfolio performance
  • Network Management & Event Organization: Organizing network and investor events, managing online and offline communications
  • Business Controlling & Development: Providing financial controlling support, business analytics, and market research
Requirements
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and investor mindset
  • Ability to scope and drive invest, financial, and business topics with little guidance
  • Good business sense and analytical skills
  • Result-oriented and striving for excellence
  • Drive and passion for innovation and technology
  • High interpersonal competency and flexibility
  • Business-level German and English language skills
Nice to Have
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a related field (strategy and operational consulting, investing, startup work, business development, or business analytics)
  • Experience working with or for startups
  • Ability to think out of the box and take an investor perspective
  • Ability to communicate clearly and convincingly
  • International experience
