Tax Manager International Tax Specialist

As a Tax Manager International Tax at Hannover Re, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to Group entities and permanent establishments abroad. Your key tasks will include minimising tax risks, clarifying tax matters affecting internal and external stakeholders, and monitoring and compiling relevant calculations and analyses.
You will also be responsible for determining and verifying tax items, including deferred taxes under IFRS, in the context of the annual and consolidated financial statement. Additionally, you will contribute to global compliance topics and projects, such as transfer prices, BEPS Pillar 2, and CbCR.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have several years of professional tax experience, ideally with an international audit and tax consulting firm or an international corporate group. You will also need to have a completed degree in economics/law or a qualification in financial management, and a sound knowledge of national and international tax law.
We offer a hybrid work model with flexible working hours and 30 days of annual leave. You will also have the opportunity to work abroad, with up to 20 days a year within the EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
