About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Digital Ecosystem Director. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our global digital ecosystems, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our business units and IT departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global digital ecosystems, ensuring alignment with our business units and IT departments.
- Lead the delivery of GILDS global digital ecosystems, IT applications, and digital products, ensuring efficient and standardized global operations.
- Steer the customer-facing channels and digital product family across all business units.
- Develop strategic landscapes and communicate to business units and IT departments.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for GILDS global digital ecosystems and services within the area of responsibility.
- Provide guidance and strategic leadership for tribes and squads associated with the division.
- Implement new ecosystem elements and services in close alignment with business units and IT departments.
- Provide expertise, solutions, and KPIs and analytics for a structured and benefit-oriented roadmap.
- Develop digital products and services with respect to market requirements driven by customers and internal/external partners.
- Steer the roll-out of GILDS ecosystems globally and digital products and services within business units in all regions.
- Derive the division's mission from the overall Global IT Land & Digital Solutions' mission and business units' strategies.
- Implement and enhance a coherent and efficient work organization within the division.
- Support the development of global land transport strategy of management regions and major countries.
- Counsel business unit land on developing and implementing TMS, IT applications, digital products, and services.
- Strategy and key business development-related activities of business units and management regions.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, logistics, business informatics, computer science, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years' relevant working experience in managing complex organizations, with previous exposure in shipping or logistics industry being a definite advantage.
- Practical knowledge of agile methods and experience in establishing agile organizations.
- Proven track record in agile product development or general experience in agile methodologies.
- Experience identifying process improvements and coordinating their implementation.
- Excellent leadership, understanding of project and application life cycle, and business and IT processes.
- Strong customer service orientation, self-initiative, and detailed-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
- Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment, team player with very good communication skills.
- Fluent business English (written and spoken) and excellent MS Office skills.
