About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Digital Ecosystem Director. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our global digital ecosystems, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for the delivery of our global digital ecosystems, aligning with our IT&D Strategy and GILDS Strategy.
- Lead the development of our TMS, IT applications, digital products, and services, ensuring efficient and standardized global operations.
- Collaborate with our Business Units and IT&D departments to facilitate digital product delivery, operations, and global rollout.
- Provide guidance and strategic leadership to our tribes and squads, ensuring alignment with our overall mission and business objectives.
- Implement new ecosystem elements and services, ensuring close alignment with our Business Units and IT&D organization.
- Develop and communicate our Land and Digital Solutions strategic landscape to our Business Units and IT&D organizations.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the production depth of our global digital ecosystems and services within your area of responsibility.
- Provide expertise, solutions, and KPIs and analytics for a structured and benefit-oriented roadmap, aligning with our main stakeholders.
- Develop digital products and services, driven by customer and internal/external partner requirements.
- Steer the roll-out of our GILDS ecosystems globally and digital products and services within our Business Units in all regions.
- Derive the Division's mission from our overall Global IT Land & Digital Solutions' mission and Business Units' strategies associated with the specific business or functional area.
- Implement and enhance a coherent and efficient work organization within the division, ensuring internal alignment and synchronization of tribes and squads.
- Support the development of our Global Land Transport strategy for our Management Regions and major countries, as well as Head Office departments in your area of responsibility.
- Counsel and consult our Business Unit Land on developing and implementing TMS, IT applications, digital products, and services.
- Engage in strategy and key business development-related activities for our Business Units, particularly in respect of market-facing activities.
- Participate in global IT&D strategy and business development-related activities for our Management Regions and major countries, as well as Head Office departments.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Logistics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years' relevant working experience in managing complex organizations, with previous exposure in Shipping or Logistics Industry being a definite advantage.
- Practical knowledge of Agile Methods and experience in establishing Agile Organizations.
- Proven track record in agile product development or general experience in agile methodologies.
- Experience identifying process improvements and coordinating their implementation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of project and application life cycle.
- Understanding of business and IT processes.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Self-initiative, detailed-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
- Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment.
- Team player with very good communication skills.
- Fluent Business English (written and spoken).
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio, etc.).
