About the Role

As a Sales and Customer Relationship Specialist at DP World, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and fostering strong customer relationships within the logistics industry. You will be responsible for selling logistics services, managing customer inquiries, and coordinating shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain a customer database, and deliver compelling sales pitches to prospective customers.
  • Customer Service and Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for existing clients, address customer inquiries promptly, and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensure accurate and timely delivery, monitor shipment progress, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Sales and Revenue Management: Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and revenue, and generate regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Industry Knowledge and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors, and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, particularly in the logistics industry.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and provide effective solutions.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Knowledge of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM and TMS software, and other relevant tools.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English and German languages.
