Your Responsibilities

  • Lead high-priority projects or programs, demonstrating excellence in project management dimensions such as scope, time, budget, risk, quality, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Setup and execute projects for success, applying and tailoring project approaches and tools using operational excellence, agile, and classical project management frameworks.
  • Drive projects and process optimizations for value streams and end-to-end processes.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes and root cause problem-solving on operational and senior management levels.
  • Foster strong working relationships across the organization and ensure appropriate stakeholder management.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of various business areas within Uniper and build trustful relationships with business partners.
  • Drive the Operational Excellence way of working forward in appointed business areas, in tight cooperation with leadership and subject matter experts.
  • Act as a role model for operational excellence project management and develop, coach, or mentor other team members and project managers.
  • Develop concepts and proposals to enrich the OE program and drive strategic OE initiatives and projects.

Your Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in project management with a proven track record of successful high-complex improvement/transformation projects in dynamic environments.
  • Lead various types of projects, such as strategy implementation, performance improvements, performance management system setup, organizational restructuring, compliance, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with Change Management concepts and ability to embed this naturally in projects.
  • Experience using DMAIC, agile approaches, and traditional project management methods, preferably with industry certifications.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience of digital technologies and ability to identify deployment opportunities.
  • Significant experience in management consultancy skills, such as team formation, workshop moderation, decision-making with senior stakeholders, and active change management.
  • Excellent communication skills and precise messaging from operational level to Board stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and use digital technologies, such as Teams, PowerBI, Power Automate, Mural, and AI.
  • Strong drive and "getting things done" attitude to deliver projects in a challenging environment with conflicting stakeholder interests.
  • Proven experience in the energy industry and interest in developing others as a mentor or coach.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% if project assignment requires.
