Business Development Manager RAIL (m/w/d)

Cattron is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager RAIL (m/f/d) to drive customer acquisition and expansion in our Rail/Transportation market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for increasing market share through targeted sales efforts and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Share Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase market share through targeted sales efforts and partnerships.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute sales strategies to drive growth and expansion in the Rail/Transportation market.
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expansion.
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Rail/Transportation market.
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and expansion.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completed degree or training with an electrical engineering focus, e.g., electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, industrial engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a comparable position and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Skills: Analytical thinking, entrepreneurial acumen, creativity, confident demeanor, negotiation skills, high communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Language: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Software: Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Travel: High willingness to travel (approximately 50% of working time) to attend meetings with clients on-site.
