**Your Role**

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Analysis & Market Intelligence team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, building, and maintaining financial models, valuation tools, and methods for renewable energy projects, mainly industrial-scale solar, wind, and batteries.
  • Evaluating and assessing potential investment opportunities and partnerships, participating in due diligence processes, and preparing valuation reports.
  • Analyzing the financial performance, cash flows, returns, and risks of projects, and preparing and presenting investment recommendations and reports to senior management in collaboration with project development teams.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to support the origination, development, and execution of renewable energy projects.
  • Monitoring and assessing the performance and risk of the existing pipeline and providing insights and recommendations.

**Your Profile**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a comparable field with a strong academic record.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, DCF valuation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Skills to create comprehensive management presentations.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and markets, and understanding of the value drivers behind Solar PV and Onshore.
  • Fluent English, additional languages as a bonus.
  • Appreciation for cultural differences.
