Renewable Market Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Market Analyst to join our team at Uniper. As a key member of our Market Analysis team, you will be responsible for leading our renewable market analysis and long-term outlook. You will work closely with our analysts and stakeholders to deliver insights, analyses, and forecasts on the wider renewable and decarbonization topics.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Uniper's renewable market analysis and the renewable long-term outlook
- Orchestrate the key beliefs for our long-term power outlook with respect to renewables development, including technological developments, new build, and regulatory aspects
- Ensure efficient and close collaboration between the analysts and stakeholders to deliver insight, analyses, and forecasts on the wider renewable and decarbonization topics
- Confidently apply complex fundamental market models and identify improvement potential for the existing methodological framework of the different product forecasts
- Deliver into and ensure relevance to commercial and strategic decision making and proactively support investment decisions, origination, and trading
- Create new business ideas to drive decarbonization and commercial success
- Excellent education in the field of Sustainability or Environmental Sciences, Energy, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar
- Several years of professional experience in the field of energy markets and trading environment, in-depth understanding of the European power & RES markets required
- Relevant experience in the field of renewable energy and fundamental power market modeling is a must-have
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; in particular, ability to integrate different views and to mediate/interact between the renewables/trading/origination teams and market analysis
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer analysts, the wider renewable teams, and traders across multiple teams and locations
- Fluent in written and spoken English required, additional languages as German beneficial
