Your Responsibilities
- Create and deliver in-depth market insights, analyses, and forecasts on renewable energy, decarbonization, and flexibility topics in the European market.
- Develop a deep understanding of complex fundamental market models to identify relevant inputs and drivers.
- Strengthen knowledge and analysis on Guarantee of Origin, Carbon Offsets, and European regulations, including country-specific and overarching regulations.
- Deliver relevant insights to commercial and strategic decision-making and proactively support trading, origination, and investment decisions.
- Review and assess external analyses to refine Uniper's view on fundamental drivers and new products.
- Ensure effective relationships with peer analysts and stakeholders across multiple teams and locations by connecting them with research, materials, and people.
- Confidently present and communicate insights related to renewable and decarbonization topics to a wide range of stakeholders.
Your Profile
- Excellent education in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Energy, Engineering, Economics, or similar fields.
- In-depth understanding of the fundamental drivers of the European power and RES market, particularly politics, regulations, and support schemes.
- Relevant experience in fundamental market analysis.
- Experience in working with databases and handling data, with additional programming skills (VBA, R, Python, etc.) an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong orientation on results and proactive attitude to support existing processes and drive new developments.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively work in an international and diverse environment.
