We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Analysis & Market Intelligence team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, valuation tools, and methods for renewable energy projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and build financial models, valuation tools, and methods for renewable energy projects, focusing on industrial-scale solar, wind, and batteries.
  • Evaluate and assess potential investment opportunities, participate in due diligence processes, and prepare valuation reports.
  • Analyse the financial performance, cash flows, returns, and risks of projects, and prepare and present investment recommendations and reports to senior management in collaboration with project development teams.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to support the origination, development, and execution of renewable energy projects.
  • Monitor and assess the performance and risk of the existing pipeline, providing insights and recommendations.
Your Profile:
  • University degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a comparable field with a strong academic record.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and analysis, DCF valuation.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Skills to create comprehensive management presentations.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and markets, and understanding of the value drivers behind Solar PV and Onshore.
  • Fluent English, additional languages a bonus.
  • Appreciation for cultural differences.
