Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for taxonomy development and data management?
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for developing and optimising our in-house developed taxonomy to maintain a consistent category structure that reflects the reality of the B2B sector.
About the Job- You will define terminologies for effective data management and end-user search on our leading B2B marketplace in Europe.
- You will contribute to the development of intuitive and comprehensive navigation structures to optimise product and supplier search.
- You will acquire in-depth industry knowledge to define customised properties & values that offer added value for specialists.
We offer a competitive salary of €65,000 - €85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as 30 days holiday, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work remotely.
Requirements- You should have successfully completed your studies in computer science, linguistics, journalism, humanities, information management or library management, or have a comparable qualification.
- You should have some experience in managing taxonomies and metadata models and have already worked on the definition and evaluation of content.
- You should be familiar with working in agile processes and have strong analytical skills.
- You should be a native speaker of German and have a good command of written and spoken English, with other language skills an advantage (particularly French, Spanish, Italian).
