Product Category Specialist

Wayfair is a leading online destination for home furnishings and décor. As a Product Category Specialist in our Category Management department, you will play a key role in offering an unparalleled selection of great value products for the home, paired with excellent customer experience.
Our team is responsible for a specific product category, such as lighting, décor, bedding, or kitchen, and maintains relationships with suppliers. By working with key suppliers on a daily basis, our objective is to grow the category by expanding the selection on our website, aligning promotions and operations, merchandising, and marketing activities with the respective teams, and ensuring price competitiveness throughout the catalog.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivating and strengthening relationships with internal and external partners
- Testing new innovative ideas and analyzing trends
- Researching categories and vendors to build out selection
- Identifying new, profitable opportunities for targeting, segmentation, and merchandising
- Developing strategies for priority initiatives and leading implementations
Requirements:
- Availability for at least 6 months
- Fluency in English and Polish (at least C1 level)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
