Commercial Project Manager (f/m/d) - Controls and Digitalization
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Gas Services, Controls & Digitalization team as a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) (f/m/d). As a key member of our international team, you will serve as the commercial counterpart to the technical Project Manager (f/m/d), reporting directly to the Finance Manager (f/m/d).
Your Responsibilities- Execute the full scope of financial and commercial activities in accordance with Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards and Financial Reporting Guidelines.
- Run, monitor, and optimize targeted financial results with due professional care, including project gross profit, project costs, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.
- Prepare, handle, and monitor project forecasts and reflect them in the respective tools.
- Issue and timely submit project billing as specified in customer contracts and regulations.
- Provide information and commercial/financial reports vital for project review, indicating deviations, handling risks, and opportunities, and accompanying action plans.
- Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
- Handle foreign currency risk in projects according to hedging/currency guidelines.
- Lead partner requirements (customer, subcontractors, internal management, and other team members).
- Studies in business administration, finance, accounting, or a commercial field.
- Experience in commercial project management, ideally with a certification as CPM (f/m/d).
- Solid track record in a multinational environment and experience in effectively engaging with diverse audiences.
- Analytical thinking and ability to interact both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
- Full professional proficiency in English, ideally Spanish, German is an asset.
