Join Our Team as a Commercial Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our Gas Services, Controls & Digitalization team, you will play a crucial role in driving the profitability of our projects.

About the Role

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will serve as the commercial counterpart to the technical Project Manager, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Successful execution of financial and commercial activities in accordance with Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards and Financial Reporting Guidelines.
  • Running, monitoring, and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care.
  • Preparation, handling, and monitoring of project forecasts and reflecting them in the respective tools.
  • Issuance and timely submission of project billing as specified in customer contracts and regulations.
  • Providing information and commercial/financial reports vital for project review, indicating deviations, handling risks, and opportunities, accompanying action plans.
  • Contribution to the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
  • Handling foreign currency risk in projects according to hedging/currency guidelines.
  • Leading partner requirements (customer, subcontractors, internal management, and other team members).
What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Studies in business administration, finance, accounting, or a commercial field.
  • Experience in commercial project management, ideally with a certification as CPM.
  • Solid track record in a multinational environment and experience in effectively engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to interact both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, ideally Spanish, German is an asset.
