Commercial Project Manager - Controls and Digitalization

Join Siemens Energy as a Commercial Project Manager - Controls and Digitalization and play a key role in driving the profitability of our Controls & Digitalization projects. As a member of our international team, you will serve as the commercial counterpart to the technical Project Manager, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

About the Role

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full scope of financial and commercial activities in accordance with Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards and Financial Reporting Guidelines. This includes running, monitoring, and optimizing targeted financial results, preparing and handling project forecasts, and issuing and submitting project billing as specified in customer contracts and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Successful execution of financial and commercial activities in accordance with Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards and Financial Reporting Guidelines
  • Running, monitoring, and optimizing targeted financial results
  • Preparation and handling of project forecasts
  • Issuance and submission of project billing
  • Providing commercial and financial reports for project review
  • Contribution to the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process
  • Handling foreign currency risk in projects
Requirements
  • Studies in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Experience in commercial project management, ideally with a certification as CPM
  • Solid track record in a multinational environment and experience in effectively engaging with diverse audiences
  • Full professional proficiency in English, ideally Spanish, German is an asset
