About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Application Services Manager to join our team at Linde. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Applications landscape in alignment with our company's strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain up-to-date information related to Applications, including SLA, CMDB, Inventory, and Risk Assessment.
  • Oversee the life cycle management of Applications, including upgrade, replacement, and decommissioning.
  • Manage software licenses for server-based and desktop Applications.
  • Coordinate Change Management activities related to Applications.
  • Act as the IT Service contact for projects led by other IT areas.
  • Drive Business to facilitate the understanding of our IT environment, collect their needs, and monitor Applications KPIs.
  • Coordinate with Business and other IT areas the deployment of new Applications features.
  • Align and manage the implementation of Global IT policies, including SSO, Security, and Data Privacy.
  • Participate in digitalization and task automation processes, contributing to our company's evolution towards digital transformation.
Requirements
  • Education in Computer Science.
  • Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in IT Services Management, preferably in the Applications area.
  • Knowledge in Applications architecture (on premise and cloud), Data Protection, and IT Security standards.
  • Service-oriented (ITIL v3 or v4) with management skills and ability to adapt quickly in an IT changing environment.
  • Open-minded to work in a multicultural, diverse, and inclusive organization.
  • Fluent in English and local language.
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and use data effectively, driving digital transformation.
