IT Application Services Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Portugal

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance the comprehensive Applications ecosystem in accordance with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Accountable for the creation and maintenance of all pertinent information related to Applications, including Service Level Agreements (SLA), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Inventory, and Risk Assessment, while managing lifecycle processes.
  • Responsible for the administration of software licenses for both server-based and desktop Applications.
  • Manage Change Management initiatives associated with Applications.
  • Act as the IT Service liaison for projects initiated by other IT departments.
  • Collaborate with the team to handle tasks related to the upgrade, replacement, or retirement of Applications, engaging with Business units to facilitate comprehension of the IT landscape, gather requirements, and monitor Applications Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate with Business and other IT divisions for the rollout of new Applications functionalities.
  • Ensure alignment and execution of Global IT policies concerning Single Sign-On (SSO), Security, and Data Privacy.
  • Actively engage in digitalization and task automation initiatives, contributing to the organization's journey towards digital transformation.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience of 3 to 5 years in IT Services Management, particularly within the Applications domain.
  • Proficient understanding of Applications architecture (both on-premise and cloud), Data Protection, and IT Security standards.
  • Service-oriented mindset (ITIL v3 or v4) with strong management capabilities and adaptability in a dynamic IT environment.
  • Open to working in a multicultural, diverse, and inclusive setting.
  • Fluency in the local language and English is essential.
  • Prepared to embrace new challenges and contribute significantly to the company's digital transformation initiatives.
  • Adept at collecting, interpreting, and utilizing data effectively to drive digital transformation.
