IT Application Services Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Lisboa, Portugal

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance the comprehensive Applications framework in line with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Accountable for the creation and upkeep of all pertinent information related to Applications, including Service Level Agreements (SLA), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Inventory, and Risk Assessment, while managing the lifecycle of these Applications.
  • Manage software licensing for both server-based and desktop Applications.
  • Lead Change Management initiatives associated with Applications.
  • Act as the IT Service liaison for projects spearheaded by other IT divisions.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage tasks directly linked to the upgrading, replacement, or retirement of Applications, facilitating business understanding of the IT landscape, gathering requirements, and monitoring Application Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate with Business and other IT departments for the rollout of new features in Applications.
  • Ensure alignment and implementation of Global IT policies concerning Single Sign-On (SSO), Security, and Data Privacy.
  • Engage actively in digitalization and task automation initiatives, contributing to the organization’s journey towards digital transformation.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience of 3 to 5 years in IT Services Management, particularly within the Applications domain.
  • Familiarity with Applications architecture (both on-premise and cloud), Data Protection, and IT Security standards.
  • Service-oriented mindset (ITIL v3 or v4) with strong management capabilities and adaptability in a dynamic IT environment.
  • Open-mindedness to work within a multicultural, diverse, and inclusive setting.
  • Proficiency in the local language and fluency in English.
  • Willingness to embrace new challenges and contribute actively to the success of the organization’s digital transformation initiatives.
  • Adept at collecting, interpreting, and utilizing data effectively to drive digital transformation.
