Our Job Offer

We are looking for a Senior Category Strategy Manager (w/f/d) to join our team in Düsseldorf.

This role will work in close cooperation with other functional teams, such as Marketing, Commercial, Market & Consumer Insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify market opportunities and growth potential for LDB to win market share in upcoming years in our key categories (high focus RX acceleration)
  • Develop and implement strategic priorities respecting the full patient + consumer journey with LDB teams by leading or supporting cross-functional project teams
  • Support the LDB leadership team in the preparation of key strategic meetings (GM visit, Zone, Multi-Div)
  • Expand and develop our market, category, consumer, and competitor insights:
  • Key person for CMI for consolidation and development of consumer and category insights studies as well as managing the overall study needs
  • Analyze, share, and transfer relevant insights into tactics and strategies in close cooperation with our LDB teams (brands, commercial, digital, and education)
  • Upskill LDB community on market and consumer insights and support critical brand and sales meetings with relevant consumer, category, and industry insights
  • Owning the market projection process in close collaboration with the Corporate CMI Team and in exchange with our counterparts within the other divisions.
  • Drive category growth and identify profitable growth potentials with our Revenue Growth Manager.
  • Regular exchange and representation of our division's perspective and interest in cross-divisional and/or international context
Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Successfully completed university degree
  • At least years of experience in sales, marketing, category management, or business development; ideally in cosmetics or pharmaceutical environment
  • Good understanding of the cosmetics market
  • Experience in the pharmacy environment is an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and affinity for numbers
  • Ability to develop and implement fact-based strategies
  • Skill to navigate easily between top-line strategy and operational data/insight
  • Strong communication skills, team player, assertiveness, enthusiasm, creativity, and inspiration, commitment
  • Fluent in English
