The Role

We are seeking a Senior Category Strategy Manager to join our team in Düsseldorf. This role will involve working closely with other functional teams to identify market opportunities and develop strategic priorities that drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities and growth potential for our key categories, with a focus on RX acceleration.
  • Develop and implement strategic priorities that respect the full patient and consumer journey, working closely with cross-functional project teams.
  • Support the leadership team in preparing key strategic meetings, including GM visits, Zone, and Multi-Div meetings.
  • Expand and develop our market, category, consumer, and competitor insights, including key person responsibilities for CMI and study needs.
  • Analyze, share, and transfer relevant insights into tactics and strategies, working closely with LDB teams.
  • Upskill the LDB community on market and consumer insights, and support critical brand and sales meetings with relevant insights.
  • Own the market projection process, working closely with the Corporate CMI Team and counterparts in other divisions.
  • Drive category growth and identify profitable growth potentials with the Revenue Growth Manager.
  • Regularly exchange and represent the division's perspective and interests in cross-divisional and international contexts.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a successfully completed university degree and at least years of experience in sales, marketing, category management, or business development, ideally in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical environment.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the cosmetics market.
  • Experience in the pharmacy environment is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and affinity for numbers.
  • Ability to develop and implement fact-based strategies.
  • Skill to navigate easily between top-line strategy and operational data/insight.
  • Strong communication skills, team player, assertiveness, enthusiasm, creativity, and inspiration.
  • Fluent in English.
