Head of Operations

Cardino is a German startup revolutionizing the used EV market. Founded in 2022, we're driving the energy transition toward sustainability by facilitating easier buying and selling of used electric vehicles.
Our team, comprised of experienced professionals from Berlin's startup scene, including McKinsey, BCG, Rocket Internet, and more, is dedicated to propelling the e-mobility revolution forward.
Job DescriptionWe're seeking a skilled Head of Operations to oversee and optimize our operational functions, ensuring efficiency and scalability as we grow. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Address operational challenges, manage crises, and streamline processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement scalable, data-driven workflows and automate processes to enhance productivity.
- Project Management: Lead large-scale initiatives with detailed planning, resource management, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of development and continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage external vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Operational Problem-Solving: 5+ years of relevant experience with proven ability to resolve complex problems and manage crises effectively in agile environments.
- Process Optimization: Experience in building and optimizing scalable processes in fast-paced, high-growth settings. Knowledge of Airtable/ Zendesk is highly preferred.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Team Leadership: Successful track record in leading and developing small, high-performing teams.
- Vendor Management: Extensive experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and external partnerships.
