Vertical Farming Agronomist Trainee

Based in Berlin, our state-of-the-art designs and efficient agricultural solutions are now accessible throughout the EU.

Note: This position is intended for individuals currently enrolled in a program in Berlin (or Germany) who are seeking an internship, preferably mandatory, rather than a working student or part-time role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily agricultural operations, including seedling cultivation, monitoring plant health, and harvesting.
  • Participate in ongoing research and experimentation to enhance plant combinations for optimal yield, quality, and efficiency.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and clients to provide updates, collect feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Work alongside the technical team to innovate and refine new agricultural solutions.
Qualifications
  • Note: This role is exclusively for candidates currently studying in Berlin (or Germany) and seeking an internship, ideally mandatory.
  • Active enrollment in a degree program related to agronomy, botany, horticulture, or a related field, with a strong preference for those whose curriculum necessitates an internship.
  • A strong interest or academic engagement in vertical farming practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
  • A proactive mindset towards problem-solving and innovation.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
