Global Customer Quality Director

Job Responsibilities

As a Director of Customer Quality, you will lead a global team to enhance customer satisfaction by fostering close collaboration with sales, engineering, and operations. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Leading and nurturing your team as the primary point of contact for customer feedback and enhancements.
  • Crafting and implementing a comprehensive global customer quality improvement strategy.
  • Engaging proactively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Advocating for the organization's 8D completion process and facilitating lessons learned through root cause analysis.
  • Collaborating closely with sales to establish customer trust and transparency.

Background & Skills

We are seeking a candidate with a degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, process engineering, or a related technical field, complemented by extensive experience in a customer quality leadership role within the automotive sector. Additionally, we value:

  • Experience in a full-scope IATF 16949 business environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on fostering collaboration and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies and a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Fluent business English skills, with proficiency in German considered advantageous.
