Project Director

As a Project Manager at Danfoss, you will be responsible for leading product development projects from concept to serial production. You will work closely with a dynamic and motivated team, utilizing a structured project management approach to ensure successful project delivery.
You will be responsible for establishing new business cases, creating project plans, and ensuring that these plans are met in terms of scope, timing, and resources throughout the project lifecycle. You will be the key point of contact to ensure that quality requirements are met for our customers.
You will coordinate all project communication internally and externally, and deliver project documentation in accordance with quality management standards, such as ISO / IATF 16949. You will also manage a team of skilled experts from product and process development, as well as other areas of the organization, such as production and sales.

For this role, you will bring a relevant university degree in engineering, natural sciences (physics), and/or business, paired with a technical affinity to electronics. You will have experience in the industry or automotive environment, ideally from the automotive industry, and a track record in project management and execution. You will also be a genuine team player, well-versed in state-of-the-art project management practices and tools.
- Knowledge of power electronics or drive systems is a plus
- Business understanding and ability to manage key performance indicators
- High degree of customer orientation, delegation, and assertiveness
- Ability to succeed within a matrix organization
- Pragmatic and open-minded approach to evolving our organization
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as high motivation and commitment
- Fluent German and English language skills
