Warehouse Operations Manager

As a Warehouse Operations Manager at Wabtec Corporation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse and distribution center. This position requires a strong leader who can oversee the daily activities of the warehouse team, manage inventory, and coordinate with other departments to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the warehouse team, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Language: Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
