Senior Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role
The Senior Technical Sales Engineer will work closely with the EMEA Sales & Marketing department and the Business Group Application and Marketing teams to drive technical support actions and ensure business creation at major Automotive accounts. This role will focus on the Nexperia product portfolio, including Wide-Bandgap, Analog, and Power products.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive design wins in target accounts through technical support and product presentations
- Develop and deliver technical product presentations, demonstrations, and value proposition deployment to customers and distribution partners
- Lead proof of concept, solution design, and demonstrations to secure business wins
- Collaborate with customers and competitive teams to improve product definition and roadmaps
- Manage Nexperia design-in campaigns for assigned customers to ensure early involvement in the customer's technology roadmap
- Qualify sales opportunities and establish Nexperia's value proposition and position relative to the competition
- Qualify the value of Nexperia's products and quantify the technical benefits derived from choosing Nexperia
- Own the block diagram process to ensure the technical team understands the full system requirements
- Deliver ongoing knowledge sharing and product positioning to assigned accounts to help them understand the operational, financial, and business impact of Nexperia solutions
- Build relationships with sales team members, business lines, partners, and customers to support sales team objectives
- Analyze customer technical objectives to enable the sales team to be more predictive, effective, and responsive to customer needs
- Assist in educating regional sales teams on new technologies, new product features, and their related business value
Requirements
- University degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years' experience in design engineering and application engineering
- Preferably related work experience at a customer within the Automotive and/or Industrial segments
- Strong communication and presentation skills to drive communication with relevant stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Target driven, shows initiative, and has an entrepreneurial attitude
- Willingness to travel frequently
