Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and weight, to identify any potential health concerns.
- Administer dialysis treatments, including setting up and priming equipment, as directed by the Fresenius Nurse.
- Monitor patients' responses to dialysis therapy and report any unusual findings to the Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient information, including treatment data and any notable events, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dialysis techniques and technologies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in dialysis or a related field.
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification preferred.
The Patient Care Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members. The position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, as well as the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
