Strategic Buyer for Subsurface Procurement

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Buyer to join our team at Kimberlite Consulting GmbH. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for our subsurface operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for drilling rigs, decommissioning services, and OCTG
  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  • Prepare and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Identify and leverage value creation opportunities to drive business growth

Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study (economics, engineering, law) or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in a position as a strategic buyer (procurement/supply chain) or alternatively substantial experience in procurement and contract management
  • Proactive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge/understanding of markets and categories in the subsurface area
  • Fluent in English
