Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer Subsurface Procurement to join our team at Wintershall Dea. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives
  • Manage and coordinate procurement activities across various categories, including rig services, decommissioning services, and OCTG
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance
  • Identify and act on opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as economics, engineering, or law
  • At least 4 years of experience in strategic procurement or sourcing and contract management
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and efficiency through procurement initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Fluent in English and German (oral and written)
