Subsurface Procurement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Subsurface Procurement Specialist to join our team at Wintershall Dea. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and contracting for our subsurface operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agree final specifications and set commercial conditions for procurement activities
  • Manage tender processes, evaluate proposals, and conduct final negotiations
  • Prepare standard contract templates for low- to medium-impact categories
  • Coordinate with project and procurement organizations for smaller projects and operations
  • Establish project procurement strategies and manage non-conformities
  • Communicate procurement strategies to the community and ensure contract performance

Requirements

  • Relevant vocational education or bachelor's degree in economics, procurement, or supply chain
  • At least 2 years' experience in operational or strategic buyer position or alternative sourcing and contract management experience
  • Proactive team player with solution-oriented, self-motivated, and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of sub-surface markets and categories, including rig services and decommissioning services
  • Fluent in English and German (oral and written)
