Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at AUVESY-MDT. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for managing both inbound and external leads for our sales team.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Management: Qualify and manage inbound leads from marketing, as well as outbound prospecting focused on the manufacturing industry.
  • Customer Engagement: Contact prospective customers in the assigned area to determine their needs and degree of interest in our products and services.
  • Sales Demonstration: Schedule or conduct web sales demonstrations and maintain detailed notes in our lead tracking system.
  • Product and Competitor Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about our products and services, as well as the activities of our competitors.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the sales team and other departments such as marketing, customer service, and sales support.
Your Profile
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Tools: Proficiency in sales tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Industrial Automation space.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Language: Fluency in both German and English.
  • Education: Preferred associate's or bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
  • Previous experience working in a start-up or fast-paced growth environment.
