Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Fluid Solutions South Team in Landau in der Pfalz, Germany. As a key member of our commercial water industry team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering our product portfolio, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Portfolio Development: Define and manage our product platforms, concepts, and features to drive profitable business growth.
  • Customer Requirements: Gather and prioritize customer and product requirements, working closely with engineering and sales teams to deliver winning products.
  • Technical Development: Collaborate with engineering to ensure technical development meets requirements within cost and schedule targets.
  • Market Coverage: Work with sales to define distribution channels and optimize market coverage.
  • Customer Needs: Understand customer needs through sales, customer visits, research, and market intelligence.
  • Business Cases: Build solid business cases with sales teams and gain consensus on them.
  • Product Specifications: Ensure product specifications meet and exceed market requirements.
  • Customer Value Proposition: Define a sustainable and differentiated customer value proposition.
  • Competitive Analysis: Assess competition by comparing products and applications.
  • Project Leadership: Lead large-scale projects and build new products from the ground up.
  • Portfolio Management: Clean up the portfolio to reduce complexity and company costs.
  • Roadmap Development: Develop, maintain, and win acceptance of roadmaps that define product lines strategy.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with key customers to scan current, future, and unspoken requirements.
  • Competitive Advantages: Determine competitive advantages and key success factors.
  • Sales Enablement: Support product training and other sales enablement activities.
  • Exhibition Participation: Help organize and participate in local and international exhibitions/shows.
  • Department Interface: Interface with MarCom, engineering, manufacturing, and sales departments.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, MS/MBA highly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years' experience in a similar role in the commercial water or HVAC or BAS industry in an international environment.
  • Skills: Able to set priorities, cope with stress and deadlines, proven track record in delivering results, leadership skills, detail-oriented, process-oriented, multitasking, commercial-driven, excellent team-player, ability to perform on strategic and tactical levels, proactive issue identification, strong organizational and planning skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in personal computer tools and Microsoft office tools, fluency in English (oral and written).
