Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PC and Network Engineer to join our team at Superior Essex. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, clients, and network hardware and software.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain the OT hardware and software environment for industrial production systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of infrastructure services and systems.
  • Manage system and application servers.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot server, client, and network hardware and software.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot smartphones.
  • Implement and manage remote access and VPN services.
  • Install and configure printers and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement and manage internet and firewall services.
  • Implement and manage LAN and WiFi network services.
  • Ensure connectivity between the local site and European/global services.
  • Ensure the availability of backup and restore systems and provide support in case of data loss or corruption.
  • Implement and manage collaboration and video conferencing services.
  • Provide industrial PCs and software, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide industrial hardware (scanners, scales, PCL, etc.), installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and manage servers for industrial systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in IT infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (client and server) is required.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure is required.
  • Knowledge of standard server and client software applications.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent office software skills.

Working Hours

Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
