Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PC and Network Engineer to join our team at Superior Essex. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions, including server, client, and network hardware and software configurations.
  • Plan and execute the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
  • Provide end-user support and troubleshoot network and system issues.
  • Manage and maintain system and application servers.
  • Administer and manage network security, including firewalls and VPN services.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement and manage network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with network security, including firewalls and VPN services.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
