About the Role:

KACO New Energy GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in France. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue in the assigned territory, working closely with distributors, installers, and project developers to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including C-Level executives, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, product management, offer management, and marketing, to ensure seamless customer support
  • Manage contracts, including negotiation, tracking, and renewal, to ensure optimal business outcomes
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate customer performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide regular sales reports and insights to stakeholders using Customer-Relationship-Management-Tools or similar databases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the solar photovoltaic industry, preferably with solar/hybrid inverters
  • Proven track record in Key Account & Product management, with experience in managing sales channels with distributors, EPC, and installers
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications and Customer-Relationship-Management/SAP
  • Fluency in French, with good command of English; German is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Residence in France
