About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager Europe to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring all purchasing activities across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to ensure the availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other essential goods.
- Lead a team of five employees and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of purchasing tasks.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop long-term business relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
- Monitor and control purchasing processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- University degree in economics with a focus on materials management or logistics.
- At least three years of professional experience in a managerial position with personnel responsibility in the chemical industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English, with excellent IT skills.
